"I will NEVER come here again with my son. Would like to say, this is my first time having taken him as his dad usually does, but was trying to do something nice for the hubby and take him myself. Okay, so we get there....I stood there at the counter not being greeted, one lady was cutting hair and chair's full of customers. Finally was greeted 5 mins later, they showed me where to check in. So we did. Said it would be a 20 min wait...okay sure. I put in my hubby's name because I figured that his son would be under him. The lady called my husbands name and we went back. So she said, oh I see you usually do this for hair cuts. I told her, well that is actually his dad. This is my first time here so I wasnt sure if my son had an account under his name. She rudely told me you HAVE to put his name. I apologized and told her I'm sorry I didnt realize that, again I've never been here. She huffed. So I told her I think they normally do a 4 or 5 on top and 2 on the sides. Again she huffed and said, well that's basically a buzz cut. So she then asked my son, do you want it longer on top and he said yes....this was also after me calling his dad to ask what they do and interrupting him at work. The lady did not keep it longer but gave him a buzz cut. Acted rude and rolled her eyes at me the whole time. She also didnt interact with him or ask him questions or have any sort of conversation with him, despite me seeing her do it with the last client. The whole time my son is sitting there pissed because he saw the hack job she did on his hair. Even he mouthed during his haircut shes a bitch. So needless to say we will not be going here again. And the wait time was not 20 mins...we were there nearly an hour and spent 10 mins in the chair when everyone else had more time spent on them."

"This is the only place my son will go to now for his haircuts. His favorite stylist is Anna. She is very friendly and does not try to "upcharge" or push products. The wait can sometimes be long, but we get our name on the list via the website and run errands while we wait for my son's time to get closer. The L St Marketplace location has always been clean and all staff maintain professionalism, while at the same time making the environment inviting."

"I really loved this place...fought a bit in coming here because I dislike trying new things, especially when it concerns my hair...however, I am happy to say that Sport Cuts is worth going to...First, as a new customer, they knocked the price down from 22 to 17 for the full service, which includes things like a hot towel to the face, an excellent shampoo and conditioner involved scalp massage, and a rather intense yet strangely arousing massage from an electric massager, which did wonders on my shoulders...the woman who worked on me, Tiffany, was friendly and talkative and really did a damn fine job...when you look at what places are charging for a simple hair cut, why pay all that and get minimal service? Come to Sport Cuts and truly get your money's worth..."

"I went in here for the first time on 12/27/2015, and had never been to SportsClips before so I received the MVP experience, which includes a really bad looking haircut, followed by a burning hot towel put over your face, a shampoo wash with a pungent smelling shampoo (lavender mint), and a scalp massage on this extremely uncomfortable chair that looked like a dentists chair. I should also mention I got an older lady who happened to be deathly ill and should not have been working that day; she was sneezing, wheezing and coughing the entire time I got my haircut. I ended up getting sick 2 days later (the standard incubation period for the common cold). I'm not sure what it is about these hair cutting chains but they hire the worst hair stylists ever. They should invest more money in better hair stylist instead of a bunch of big screen TVs and gimmicks. The gimmicks alone are enough to make me NEVER want to return. I just wanted a simple haircut that looked decent at a fairly reasonable price. After the base price and a meager tip it ended up being 27 dollars. To add insult to injury, they tried to upsell me at the register by asking if I wanted to buy the foul smelling shampoo and other hair care products. Moral of the story, I probably need to find a real barber. The problem is my available hours don't usually match up with your typical barber."
